A big finish!

I'm showing all you Jubilee quilters another birthday quilt.
Yvonne's friends and family put together this string quilt for her,
right down to the handquilting.
We gave her the top for her 50th birthday in January
and by the end of March, all the quilting stitches were done
and she was sleeping under it.
Read more about it here.
My Jubilee quilt, on the other hand, is still  in many pieces.

  2. Fun quilt! I like the few 9-patches and other cross-string blocks sprinkles throughout. Looks like she's a happy camper! :)

  4. Yup, there's a tie or two in it, and the nine-patches were cut from a quilt Yvonne's grandma made for another grandchild. I don't believe in cutting up old quilts to make new ones, but that's what happened here.
